Western Day

Hunter's school had "Western Day' on October 31st. They had a bonfire and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. All of the kids dressed in their "Western" attire and had a great time!

Baseball

Hunter's first season of baseball is coming to an end and he has really become quite the ball player. He is on the 5/6 year old coach pitch Yankees. When he first decided he wanted to play ball we weren't really sure how it would go, he catches on really quick to things so we signed him up. Im not just saying this because Im his mom but he is pretty good for his first year and even his coach has noticed,he listens well and tries really hard. His position is center field and he hasn't missed a ball that has come his way. All of the boys and girl on his team are really great kids,they have good sportsmanship and always congratulate each other,their coach has had a big part in that also, he is very positive with them and always tells them how proud he is. I think its important to have coaches and leaders like that. We are really pleased with how the season turned out and I know Hunter can't wait for next year! GO YANKEES!

Looking Back

Today I found my 11 week ultrasound pictures from my pregnancy with Harper, its hard to believe that this month it has been 3 years since we found out I was pregnant with her. My pregnancy was not very fun, I was sick for the first 12 weeks. After that I was ok until 28 weeks when I started contracting and had to be put in the hospital to stop labor,I was 2cm at 28 weeks. I made it to 35 weeks and 5days and my doctor decided it was time to get her out,at this point I was 4cm. I look back and think how everything went by so quick. She is now a almost 3 year old...where did my baby go? I love watching both of my kids grow and learn new things,I just wish it didn't happen so fast!

it just doen't seem like its been three years!

Upward Basketball

Hunter is playing Upward Basketball this year and had his first game this past Saturday. He really enjoys playing! He is # 12

Hunter's Class Party 12/16/11

Hunter had his class party on 12/16. They had done lots of crafts that week so we got to see those and they enjoyed hotdogs and lots of sweets! Each child brought a gift and they exchanged gifts at the end of the party! I love his teacher and all of the kids in his class are so sweet!

Christmas Program

On December 9th Hunter's school at their annual Christmas program. They sang songs and some of the kids recited verses,it was very sweet and really focused on the TRUE meaning of Christmas. Hunter is usually very shy so I was surprised when he actually sang all of the songs. We didn't have very good seats so I didn't get that many pictures during the program but I did try to take some afterwards but as you will see my kids were not into pictures. I got the whole thing on video so Mike could watch it,he had to work that night so he wasn't able to come.

Catching up

Lets see, what have we been up to lately? My birthday was September 10th and Mike and I went to the Auburn vs Mississippi State game, we had alot of fun and can't wait to take Hunter to a game. Hunter turned 6 on the 16th, he celebrated with cupcakes in his classroom and then on Saturday we had a party for him at iJump. We all had alot of fun watching the kids jump around. We have another party this Saturday for our cousin so the kids are looking forward to that. I hope everyone is having a great Monday! I will leave you with some pictures.

Kindergarten

I know this is a little late but I still want to document it.

Hunter started K5 on August 8th 2011. He goes to the same school he went to preschool at so he was ready to go back! He was such a big boy and went in and sat at his desk. School has been in for 3 weeks and Hunter is loving it! I'm so proud! I don't have any pictures because 1. He hates his picture taken and 2. My camera card was corrupted in the machine at WM with the only two pictures that I did get of him. I plan on re-taking them soon!

Its HOT!

It has been very hot this past week and we have been trying to stay cool, we aren't able to stay outside very long at all. The kids have a blow up pool and they have taken advantage of that a couple of times. Saturday we went to my moms house and celebrated my cousin's 9th birthday and we all went swimming which was perfect for the hot weather. Braden came along with us to swim with Hunter,they swam til 8pm. Harper had to warm up to the idea of swimming but once she did she loved it!

We have passes to Alabama Adventure so we hope to go there sometime this week!



K4 Graduation

Hunter graduated K4 on May 19th, he got the reading award,charactar award,and the computer award. We are so proud of him! It is hard to believe he will be in K5 this August!
