Looking Back

Today I found my 11 week ultrasound pictures from my pregnancy with Harper, its hard to believe that this month it has been 3 years since we found out I was pregnant with her. My pregnancy was not very fun, I was sick for the first 12 weeks. After that I was ok until 28 weeks when I started contracting and had to be put in the hospital to stop labor,I was 2cm at 28 weeks. I made it to 35 weeks and 5days and my doctor decided it was time to get her out,at this point I was 4cm. I look back and think how everything went by so quick. She is now a almost 3 year old...where did my baby go? I love watching both of my kids grow and learn new things,I just wish it didn't happen so fast!

it just doen't seem like its been three years!

Happy 2012

We have had a great first week of 2012. Hunter went back to school and I'm pretty sure he was happy to see all of his friends.

2011 was a good year,I don't think anything happened that I can complain about. We welcomed our nephew in April and celebrated lots of milestones for both kids. Harper got a great report from the cardiologist and we are giving God all the glory for her health! We did lose our sweet dog Haley to a snake bite and we miss her everyday, we have gotten a new puppy and love her alot! So heres to a great 2012! As long as I have my precious family by my side I'm happy!

I have learned that dwelling on the negative things in life do nothing but cause more pain and worry, focus on letting go and letting God is a great way to start a new year!

Here are some pictures of our new year!

Christmas Day

Ok let me just start this post with saying that I feel like the worst mom ever...the kids woke up at 7:30am on Christmas Day and my camera was in the car, I didn't want to miss a moment of them opening gifts so I just used the video camera instead...I KNOW I KNOW! I feel so bad but I do have it on video and in my mind..so thats all that matters. They were so excited to see what santa brought. Hunter got, clothes, basketball shoes, new dvd player for the car, movie,ds and wii games, baseball glove and baseballs, rolling suitcase with his name on it,lego holder for all of his legos, itunes card. Harper got, barbies, innotab, rain boots, tricycle, dressup clothes, movie, new dvd player for the car, pjs, princess suitcase. I know it seems like HG got more but Hunter got an Ipod touch for his Birthday in September from us and a 3ds from my parents so there really wasn't much he asked for. I was sick with a cold and felt horrible so after opening gifts and playing for a while Mike watched the kids and let me take a nap...after my nap we all got ready and headed to my mom's parents for our annual Christmas Party!

We are so grateful for all of our family and the time we get to spend with them. Every year I look forward to going to both sets of my grandparents on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day...its always been that way and I hope my kids will have great memories with their grandparents like I do!
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
