Looking Back

Today I found my 11 week ultrasound pictures from my pregnancy with Harper, its hard to believe that this month it has been 3 years since we found out I was pregnant with her. My pregnancy was not very fun, I was sick for the first 12 weeks. After that I was ok until 28 weeks when I started contracting and had to be put in the hospital to stop labor,I was 2cm at 28 weeks. I made it to 35 weeks and 5days and my doctor decided it was time to get her out,at this point I was 4cm. I look back and think how everything went by so quick. She is now a almost 3 year old...where did my baby go? I love watching both of my kids grow and learn new things,I just wish it didn't happen so fast!

I posted this photo on Facebook today and my grandmoher couldn't tell if it was me as a child or Harper. I guess thats how much we look alike. Im going to try and scan a photo of me at this age and I will post it.

Two year check up

Harper had her two year check-up on August 15th, her stats are:

Weight- 37lbs 7oz

Height- 34in

Dr S said she was doing very well and he had no concerns. She is a little behind on her speech but we will be seeing the genetics dr in October to talk about that and her head size. She is a healthy happy 2 year old and we love her so much!

After her visit she got to go play with her cousin Bailey for a little while.

Harper is turning two next week so I decided to take some photos of her. She has 3 different outfits but I have only gotten some pictures in one so far. (its not easy to take pictures of a toddler) It makes me sad that she is growing up,she is such a sweet girl!

Its HOT!

It has been very hot this past week and we have been trying to stay cool, we aren't able to stay outside very long at all. The kids have a blow up pool and they have taken advantage of that a couple of times. Saturday we went to my moms house and celebrated my cousin's 9th birthday and we all went swimming which was perfect for the hot weather. Braden came along with us to swim with Hunter,they swam til 8pm. Harper had to warm up to the idea of swimming but once she did she loved it!

We have passes to Alabama Adventure so we hope to go there sometime this week!



21 months

• On May 12th Harper turned 21 months old. She is getting so big and is such a sweet girl! Don't make her mad or she will show you her temper ha!
• She weighs somewhere around 33lbs and im not sure how tall she is
• She is wearing anywhere from 4t-5t clothing (she is a chunky girl)
• She sleeps pretty well but still wakes up once during the night sometimes
• She loves horses and goes nuts whenever she sees one
• She says, mommy,daddy,bubba,nanny,nonny,papa,hunter,baby,puppy,bye,stinky,haley,hope,meme and im sure there are some other words that im leaving out.
• She loves to dress up and show everyone her outfits!
• She is not fond of mommy holding other babys(im glad she is the last one for us)

We love every minute with you Harper you are such a funny girl!

 One day last week we went to my parents house to visit and my dad was taking down their pool so they could put a new one in, Hunter had to help and Harper had a photo session with mommy.
